摘要
中国地壳运动观测网络 (CMONOC)是以全球卫星定位系统 (GPS)观测技术为主 ,辅之以甚长基线射电干涉测量 (VLBI)和人卫激光测距 (SLR)等空间技术 ,结合精密重力和精密水准测量构成的大范围、高精度、高时空分辨率的地壳运动观测网络。它是一个综合性、多用途、开放型、数据资源共享、全国统一的观测网络 ,具有连续动态监测功能。网络的科学目标以地震预测预报为主 ,兼顾大地测量等其他需要。该工程 1997年开始建设 ,2 0 0 0年12月全面完成 ,产生了良好的社会与经济效益
Crustal Movement Observation Network of China (CMONOC) is a large scale network for crustal movement observation of high accuracy and spatial and temporal resolution, with GPS as its main observation technique and combined with other space techniques, such as VLBI and SLR, precise leveling and precise gravimetry. It is a comprehensive, open and unified network of continuous observation for various applications with data shared by many institutions. Its main scientific aim is to monitor the crustal movement for earthquake predication. It also serves for the geodetic survey and national construction. The Project started in 1997 and was completed in Dec. 2000.
