摘要

包头西Ｍｓ６．４级地震虽属中等强度地震，但地震中却暴露了老旧城区一些建筑结构抗震能力差的弱点。本文例举了四种不同建筑类形的结构在本次地震中的表现，其中包括早期建造的平房及８０年代以后按烈度８度进行抗震设防的多层砖混和框架结构。同时给出了简单的评述。
Though the West Baotou Earthquake (Ms6.4) was only an earthquake with medium intensity, it was shown that the seismic resistance of many buildings in old town was low. This paper describes different seismic resistancebehavior for four kinds of structure which include the structures constructed in deferent ages, some built in early year, some designed and constructed after 1980's to resist intensity 8.
