基于SPIHT改进算法的地震数据压缩

摘要
为了解决海量地震数据存储和传输的问题,在多级树集合分裂(SPIHT)算法的基础上,提出了一种SPIHT改进算法。该算法可对地震数据图像进行有效的压缩和重构,在减少编解码时间的同时,能够得到较高的压缩比和较好的图像重构效果。为了验证算法的有效性,选取了10幅地震剖面图进行试验。试验结果表明,该算法能够更好地保留图像的客观质量,同时也提高了编解码的效率。
In order to solve the problems of storage and transformation of large number of seismic data,a modified SPIHT seismic data compression algorithm was proposed.By compressing and reconstructing seismic data image effectively,the algorithm could be used to get a higher compression ratio and better image restoration results while reducing the encoding and decoding time.In order to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm,ten seismic profiles were chosen for experiment.Results of experiment show that this algorithm can reserve the quality of image and improve the efficiency of encoding and decoding.
