PAM/PVA blend systems at different composition ratios were constructed and computed. Compatibility and mechanical properties were investigated and compared with the experiments and references. Molecular interaction mechanisms of polymer chains were studied. Root reasons why the mechanical properties of blend systems increase with the addition of PVA content were revealed.
