Data from avian point counts on 180 wildlife-forestry managed and 134 control stands. Of 42 common species, 6 species indicative of each treatment type. Wildlife-forestry treatment improved predictive models of occupancy for 18 species. Removal model for species detection and distance model for effective detection radii. Densities of 16 bird species differed between wildlife-managed and control stands.
