张北-尚义地震现场CO_2测量与震后趋势判断

摘要
利用CO2快速测定法监测了张北-尚义地震现场4个观测点的CO2动态特征,并初步讨论了CO2的来源。结果表明CO2没有明显的异常,故认为6.2级地震之后,震区构造应力没有进一步增强的迹象。因此于1998年1月20日和2月3日两次提出15d内震区发生MS≥5.0强余震的可能性不大的震后趋势预测意见。事实证明这个判断是正确的。
ynamic characteristics of CO2 at 4 observation sites in the field of ZhangbeiShangyi M6.2 earthquake are studied by using fast measurement method for CO2. The source of CO2 is discussed preliminarily. The results indicate that no anomaly in CO2 is observed. It is suggested that there is no signal of increase in tectonic stress after ZhangbeiShangyi earthquake. According to the regulation of change in CO2, on Jun.10 and Feb.3, 1998 , respectively, we predicted that there will be little possibility to occur strong aftershocks of MS≥5.0 in 15 days. The fact indicates that the prediction is correct. It is suggested that the fast measurement method for CO2 will pay an important role in prediction of seismic trend after main shock.
