摘要
<正> 一、前言晋中南新生代裂谷系呈“S”型斜贯山西的中南部,是环绕鄂尔多斯隆起带的新生代裂谷系之一,且位于隆起带的南东缘。它是华北的重要地震带,也曾被列入找油盆地,因此进行过较详细的地质调查。但由于裂谷被第四系掩覆,其构造在地表很难查明,为此,作过多种地球物理勘查,特别是人工地震提供了丰富的地质信息。
The Southern Central Shanxi Cenozoic Rift System is one of the major tectonic zones in North China, in which the controlling major fault zone is obliquely slipping under right-lateral shearing, and arranged en echelon. Because of the strike-slip component is generally acting on each of the segments, there have formed some crossover regions between the two ends of adjacent fault segments. The crossover regions can be extensional, as if the relevant fault segments displace backward to each other; or, compressional as if the relevant fault segments displace forward to each other. The major faults associated with these crossover structures form the NNE-trending strike-slip fault system.
