IBM和SGI大型处理计算机网络连接与数据共享

摘要
大庆石油管理局地球物理勘探公司于 2 0 0 0年引进的IBMSP2RS/ 60 0 0和SGIOrigin 2 0 0 0两套大型处理计算机 ,分别配备美国西方公司的OMEGA处理软件和法国CGG公司的GeovecteurPlus处理软件。为了能够把OMEGA和GeovecteurPlus两套软件进行有机的结合 ,实现软件功能的优势互补 ,把IBM和SGI两套大型计算机进行了连网 ,最终实现了两套计算机上的地震数据能够直接传输 ,地震作业的道头字和文件库能够相互转换和调用。文章介绍了连网的硬件配置和系统配制过程 ,以及研制开发的新模块 ,该技术已应用于大庆物探公司研究所的数据处理中 ,运行稳定、效果明显 ,收到非常可观的经济效益。
Two large-scale computers used in processing seismic data, an IBM SP2 frame equipped with OMEGA software from USA Western company and a SGI ORIGIN2000 frame with GeovecteurPlus software from France CGG company, were introduced into the Geophysical Exploration Company of Daqing in 2000. We joined IBM frame and SGI frame with a network in order to integrate the advantages of both OMEGA and GeovecteurPlus software. This article describes the hardware configuration in the network, the procedure of forming the system, and the new developed modules. This technique has been used in real data processing, which can complete the transmission of the seismic data from two sets of frames, the conversion of the trace words in the seismic jobs and the mutual call of those file libraries.
