The Type III heterojunction HPW/TiO2-In2S3 was designed and synthesized. HPW/TiO2-In2S3 showed high and steady photocatalytic activity under visible light. The advantages of each part in HPW/TiO2-In2S3 were simultaneously highlighted. The mechanism of photoexcited process and photocatalytic degradation were deduced.
