Supramolecular assembled three-Dimensional (3D) graphene was first fabricated by host-guest interactions of β-CDPs with PEG-AD linkers. The incorporation of PEG-AD linker into rGO sheets can provide efficient 3D electron transfer pathways and ion diffusion channels. The 3D self-assembled graphene exhibits high specific capacitance, remarkable rate capability, and excellent cycling stability. This study shed new lights to design 3D self-assembled graphene materials and their urgent applications in energy storage.
