TST and FST induced depression-like behaviors in mice. EPMT and OFT induced anxiety-like behaviors in mice. Erucamide, a bioactive fatty acid amide, ameliorated mouse depression and anxiety like behaviors. ACTH and CORT serum levels in Erucamide treatment mice were reduced compared to the control group. Erucamide may be involved in hypothalamus–pituitary–adrenal axis regulation.
