Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) signaling via LPA4 and LPA6 negatively regulates cell motile activities of colon cancer cells

The cell motile activities of DLD1 and HCT116 cells were stimulated by LPA4 and LPA6 knockdown. 5-FU treatment enhanced the cell motile activity of DLD1 cells. The expressions of LPAR1, LPAR4 and LPAR6 genes were elevated in 5-FU treated cells. The cell motile activity of 5-FU treated cells was inhibited by LPA1 knockdown. LPA4 and LPA6 negatively regulates the cell motile activities of colon cancer cells as well as 5-FU treated cells.
