Migration of DEHP and DBP from food containers under different pH and heating time were quantified using ELISA assays. Significant amounts of DEHP and DBP in the polypropylene plastic container migrated into food under acidic condition. Migration of DBP under worst-case scenario exceed the European Union specific migration limit (SML).
