摘要

An increasing proportion of the vast quantity of minerals needed in the modern world is being derived from the continent of Asia. Consequently, there is a great deal of worldwide interest in the mineral deposits of the area and in the attitudes of governments, institutions and companies to the exploitation of these deposits.
