ĄDDr. Duan
Yichun was born in May, 1958 in Yichun, Jiangxi. He
studied in the Department of Geology at China University
of Geosciences, graduating in 1982 and later obtaining a
doctoral degree there. His major research interests are
geology and land resources assessment and he has long worked
in education, technology and culture. From April 1999 to
June 2001 he was Vice-President of Shijiazhuang University
of Economics; from June 2001 to June 2003 he was Assistant
Curator of China Museum of Geology. He is holds permanent
part-time membership of the Chinese Association of Natural
History Museums and the Chinese Library Association.
