山西断陷盆地地震目录最小完整性震级分析

摘要
地震目录的最小完整性震级M C是地震学中最基础、最重要的研究内容之一,也是表征台网监测能力的关键。以1970年至2012年山西断陷盆地地震目录为基础资料,利用"震级—序号"法、"最大曲率"法(MAXC)、90%和95%的拟合度GFT法,研究了山西断陷盆地地震目录最小完整性震级M C的时间演化特征。分析结果表明,1970年以来,随着山西测震台网的改造,M C逐步降低,尤其是"十五"数字化台网改造后,山西M L≥0.9地震基本完整,表明对地震的监测能力在逐步提升。
The minimum magnitude of catalogue completeness(MC) is one of the most fundamental and important parameters for earthquake study,which is the key to reflect the monitoring capability of a seismic network.Based on the 1970- 2012 earthquake catalogue in Shanxi rift basins,we analyzed temporal variation of the minimum earthquake magnitude of completeness for catalogue by using magnitude-order number,maximum curvature( MAXC) and goodness-of-fit test( GFT) methods.The results show that the M C is gradually going down with the upgrading of seismic network from 1970,especially after the time of"10th Five-Year Plan",and could reach as low as ML0.9,which indicates that the earthquake monitoring capability in Shanxi has been significantly improved.
