虚拟川滇——基于千万网格并行有限元计算的区域强震演化过程数值模型设计和构建

摘要
利用合理的数值模型,对区域性的强震活动性分析,是近些年来地震学研究领域的一个热点问题.但无论从时间还是空间角度来讲,区域性强震演化的理论与数值模拟模型都是多尺度问题,对该问题的充分研究需要借助于大规模并行数值模拟技术.侧重于基于千万有限元网格技术,采用大规模并行有限元计算手段,对该问题的理论建模与并行数值算法实现,以及如何应用到对川滇地区区域强震演化过程的模拟进行了具体论述.本研究的关键目标是为中长期地震危险性估计提供一个大规模数值预报模拟平台系统.
