脉冲等离子体震源及其在海洋地震勘探方面的应用

摘要
结合PSS500J研究成果,介绍了脉冲等离子体震源的构架,详尽分析了脉冲等离子体震源电路原理和放电过程,给出了脉冲等离子体震源的一个应用实例。研究表明,脉冲等离子体震源的放电过程分为电容放电和电感放电两个阶段。激发产生的电脉冲为单脉冲,脉冲持续时间不足0.2ms,而传统电火花震源激发产生的电脉冲为衰减震荡脉冲,脉冲震荡持续时间可达1ms,这使得脉冲等离子体震源地层分辨率明显高于传统电火花震源。此外,脉冲等离子体震源放电激发时,负载电阻和高压电极与地极之间的距离无关,且负载电阻远大于传输电缆的电阻,能量传输效率明显高于传统电火花震源。PSS500J脉冲等离子体震源系统的研制成功,打破了国际垄断,对于我国海洋工程、海洋地学研究甚至国防均有较大意义。
This paper discusses a 500 J pulsed plasma source used as a seismic source for marine engineering applications. The seismic source consists mainly of three parts, i.e. a 500 J pulsed power source, a 50 m long high-voltage cable and a set of 100 electrodes for generation of plasmas in water. The whole discharge periods can be divided into two parts: capacitive part and inductive part. The discharge pulse of the plasma source is clean. The duration of the pulse is less than 0.2 ms. The stratum resolution of the plasma source is 0.3 m. The load resistance of the source, which is independent of the distance of the electrodes, is much higher than the resistance of transmission lines, so the energy transfer efficiency is enhanced. In the last five years, the source has been used for an over 4 000 km marine service. An example is also provided in this paper.
