网络地学图形管理系统的构建

摘要
提出了建立网络地学图形管理系统的基本思路 ,系统采用B/S(浏览器 /服务器 )架构 ,客户端采用通用的网络浏览软件 ,在服务器端实现地学对象管理、地学图形生成和用户管理等功能。地学图形采用符合国际标准的图形图像格式 ,包括CGM和SVG二维图形格式 ,以及VRML三维模型格式。本系统可以实现对局域网和广域网的无缝支持 ,支持客户端的多平台 ,实现地学图形应用到桌面的目标。实验性网络地学图形管理系统的实现 ,证明了文中所述技术思路的正确性 ,初步显现了系统的先进性、优越性和应用前景。
This paper suggests a basic conception for building a web-based geoscience graphics management system. The system adopts B/S (browser-server) architecture. At the customer-end, a general web browser is used to view geoscience graphs. Management of geoscience objects, geoscience graphics generation,and user management are realized at the server-end. Several international standards of graphics document formats, including CGM(Computer Graphics Metafile)and SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) for two-dimensional graphics, as well as VRML(Virtual Reality Modeling Language) for three dimensional models, are adopted in the system. This system seamlessly integrates with LAN and WAN, supports multi-platforms at the customer end, and is able to deliver geoscience applications to desktop. The prototype of the web-based geoscience graphics management system proves the adaptability of the techniques, and shows its superiority and application prospect.
