基于OpenGL显示列表的三维地质体模型快速显示算法

摘要
当前三维地质体模型建模算法已经较为成熟,随着地质领域应用的深入,人们面临对海量地质体模型图形信息进行实时显示的挑战。本文在实验室多年来对于地质体模型建模算法的基础上,利用树形多级显示列表,进一步改进了基于OpenGL的显示列表的图形高效显示算法,实现了地质体图形的快速显示,大大提高了更新效率。本算法具有很好的应用价值,使得原来仅能在专业图形显示卡硬件支持下才能达到实时显示的地质体模型,在普通PC机显示卡支持下达到相近的显示速度。本算法可以广泛应用于地质领域,基于本算法开发的两个地质体图形显示系统广受地质领域专家的好评。
Now the algorithm of 3D modeling is mature. With the development of geology, people are facing the challenge of mass data displaying. On the basis of the geological modeling algorithm in a laboratory for many years, fast display of geological graphs has been carried into effect with OpenGL multilevel display list. It can improve renewing efficiency. This algorithm has great application value, which makes it possible that the display speed of the video adapter in an ordinary PC machine is close to that of a professional graphic display adapter. It can be widely used in geological field. Two graphical display systems based on this algorithm have achieved favourable comments from the geological experts.
