摘要

湖南三面环山,北面是水。整个湖南主要通行汉语。湖南的少数民族语言主要分布在湖南西部和南部的一些偏僻山区。湖南的汉语方言,除了东边,其他都被官话包围和渗透。本土的湘语主要残留在稍微偏东的中部,也就是湘江流域的中部。赣语、客家方言分布在跟江西交界的东北以及湖南西南局部山区。南部永州、郴州的南岭山区由于土话密集多样,形成跟官话并存的双方言格局。
        Hunan is surrounded by mountains on three sides, only the north near the water. Chinese is mainly used in Hunan province. Minority language in Hunan mainly distributed in some remote areas in western and southern. Chinese dialect in Hunan in addition to the east, was surrounded and infiltrated by the mandarin. The local dialect Xiangyu is mainly reserved in the middle east, the central Xiangjiang river basin. Gan dialect and Hakka dialect are distributed in the northeast of its border with Jiangxi province and some mountainous areas in southwest of Hunan province. The Nanling mountains of Yongzhou and Chenzhou in the south are complicated and varied in dialect, forming a bilateral pattern of coexisting with official dialect.
