摘要

The Revenant was adapted and filmed by American director Alejandro G. I?árritu in 2015 which is a western book written by Michael Punke. It describes the story of the frontiersman Hugh Glass. This passage attempts to analyse the comparison of barbarism and civilization in The Revenant from three aspects: the relationship between human and nature, the relationship between invaders and natives, and the conflicts in the white people.
