Development and Validation of 50~(th) Chinese Driver's Shoulder Finite Element Model

摘要
In order to study the shoulder injury mechanisms and injury process,a finite element model of drivers' shoulder is modeled with anatomical structureslikehumerus,clavicle,scapula,jointsand ligaments.The model accurately reflects the shoulder of a Chinese 50~(th) percent human body both in size and geometric features to improve the precision of the simulation.Quasi- static and dynamic three point bending simulation tests are carried out for clavicle and humerus according to thepost- mortem human subjects in literature.The simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental results.The shoulder model is coupled with thorax model to simulate the side impact,and the simulation result accurately predicts the fracture of clavicle.
