基于无人机的交通监控研究现状与展望

摘要
首先介绍了无人机在民用领域的应用发展历程,分析了无人机在交通信息采集方面的优势。然后,重点对基于无人机视频的交通参数提取(交通流量、密度、车辆轨迹和速度等)、交通事故检测、车辆检测和跟踪算法进行了综述,阐明了无人机在交通领域的应用现状,指出视频检测算法存在准确率和全面性较差、运算时效性较低等问题。文章还探讨了无人机交通应用所面临的视频环境复杂、视频处理步骤多、算法设计难度大、巡航时间短、航空管制不健全等挑战。最后,展望了基于无人机信息采集的交通研究方向,如驾驶员行为分析与建模、车辆跟驰模型验证、交通拥堵成因分析和交通状态演变机理探寻等。
In this paper,application development of UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)in civil areas is introduced in the first,and advantages of UAVs in traffic information collection are analyzed as well.Then,traffic parameter extraction(traffic volume,density,vehicle trajectory,speed and so on),incident detection,vehicle detection and tracking algorithms are reviewed,and UAV applications in traffic fields are demonstrated.It is pointed out that video detection methodsare subject to problems such as poor accuracy and comprehensiveness,low calculating speed,etal.Moreover,challenges of UAV application in traffic fields are also discussed,including complex video context,multiple video processing steps,tough algorithm design,short cruise time and immature air traffic control regulations.At last,transportationresearch areas based on UAV data collection are prospected like driver behavior analyzing and modeling,vehicle following model verification,traffic congestion causes analysis and traffic states evolution mechanism exploration.
