SiO_2/PS复合纳米纤维的制备及水中Pb~(2+)的去除研究

摘要
随着社会工业化程度的不断提高,重金属离子污染也日益受到关注。Pb~(2+)作为常见的地下水污染物,会通过多种途径对人的身心健康产生巨大的危害。因此,对水中Pb~(2+)的去除成为人们研究的热点。纳米粒子由于其比表面积高,表面具有较多的活性基团,常被用作吸附剂,但由于其易于团聚,不易分离,其应用受到限制。因此,我们采用静电纺丝的方法将Si O_2颗粒负载到聚苯乙烯上,制备了复合纳米纤维,用于去除水中的Pb~(2+)。实验结果表明:大约1h左右可以达到吸附平衡,吸附过程可用拟二级动力学描述。
Polystyrene(PS)/Si O_2 composite nanofibers have been fabricated by electrospinning process for Pb~(2+) ions removal from water. The surface properties of the polystyrene nanofibers were modulated by introducing Si O_2 nanoparticles. The contact angle of the PS nanofiber membrane was found to be decreased with increasing concentration of Si O_2, depicted enhanced hydrophilicity. The composite nanofibers were highly effective in adsorbing Pb~(2+) ions from water. The adsorption capacity of the nanofibers was found to be 90 mg/g, which is significantly higher than the results reported by other researchers.This was attributed to enhanced hydrophilicity of the PS/Si O2 composite nanofiber membranes and effective adsorption property of Si O_2 nanoparticles.
