摘要
在中点钳位型三电平变换器(neutralpointclamped three-levelconverter,NPCTLC)中,非连续脉宽调制方法(discontinuous pulse width modulation,DPWM)可有效降低开关损耗,但在中点电压平衡控制上存在不足。提出一种由传统DPWM模式(convention DPWM mode,C_MODE)和扩展DPWM模式(extended DPWM mode,E_MODE)组合的混合调制策略,称之为扩展的非连续脉宽调制方法(extended discontinuous pulse width modulation,EDPWM)。C_MODE和E_MODE在控制中点电压平衡方面具有很好的互补性。EDPWM可在全调制度全功率因数范围内实现中点电压平衡。由于C_MODE和E_MODE在一个开关周期内的开关次数分别为2次和3次,使得EDPWM在很好地控制中点电压的前提下,能兼顾开关损耗。对多种调制策略在开关损耗及中点电压控制能力等方面进行对比;通过实验验证EDPWM的可行性和优越性。
        In the neutral point clamped three level converter(NPC TLC), the discontinuous modulation method can effectively reduce the switching loss, but it has some shortcomings in the neutral point voltage(NPV) balancing control. So a hybrid modulation strategy of convention discontinuous pulse width modulation(DPWM) mode(C_MODE) and extended DPWM mode(E_MODE) was proposed, which is EDPWM. C_MODE and E_MODE have good complementarity in the control of NPV balancing.EDPWM modulation strategy can maintain the NPV balance under the full range of modulation index(MI) and power factor(PF). And because the switching actions of C_MODE and E_MODE in one switching cycle are twice and three times,respectively, EDPWM can reduce switching loss on the premise of good control of neutral point voltage. A variety of modulation strategies were compared in terms of switching loss and NPV capability. Finally, the feasibility and superiority of EDPWM were verified by experiments.
