摘要

自中华人民共和国成立以来,政府以及翻译界通过各种文学外译项目向世界输送具有代表性的优秀文化,同时也引发了大量的讨论。我们发现,中国文学在海外传播的困境之一是大量的译作因接受程度不高而被束之高阁。在本访谈中,笔者与汉学家、翻译家蓝诗玲(J.Lovell)从译者主体视角就中国文学海外传播中的几个问题:(1)翻译作品的选择;(2)翻译策略的选择;(3)翻译模式的选择;(4)出版发行商的选择等进行讨论,蓝诗玲结合自身经验阐述独到的看法,并提出一些可行的解决方法,笔者希望本访谈可以为中国文学外译及传播提供参考和借鉴。
        Since the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949,the government and translation academics and practitioners have tried various translation programs to make representative Chinese culture known to the world,and many debates have been aroused since then. It is found out that one of the main problems about the"going global"of the Chinese literature is that many of the translations are not well received abroad. In this interview,Julia Lovell,the sinologist and translator(also known as Lan Shiling),talked about some key issues on the"going global"of the Chinese literature:(1) the choice of works for translation;(2) the choice of translation strategies;(3) the choice of translation modes;(4) the choice of publishing companies. She also offered some unique opinions and solutions based on her personal experiences. It is hoped that this interview can provide some insights for the translation of Chinese literature and its "going global".
