玛丽·雪莱《弗兰肯斯坦》中的疾病

摘要
在玛丽·雪莱的《弗兰肯斯坦》中,疾病始终是男性叙事的重要构建之一。男性叙述者人造科学怪物的场域经验里包含了对疾病的发生与疗愈的叙事。小说中的疾病叙事,不仅仅是作为男性场域经验失败的生理反应,又隐喻了玛丽·雪莱作为女性个体的场域经验。家庭关爱与旅行则是小说对疾病进行疗愈的重要媒介。通过这样的疾病叙事建构,玛丽·雪莱的《弗兰肯斯坦》展现了19世纪初英国父权社会的疾病治疗文化。
In Frankenstein, disease is an important component in the male narration. The field experience narrated by the male narrators includes the narrative of the occurrence of disease and the healing of disease. In the novel, the occurrence narrative of disease, on the basis of the patriarchal gendered sphere division politics, is not only the physical response to the failure of male field experience, also a metaphor of the individual experience of Mary Shelley as a female. And the familial affection and travelling are of importance to the healing narratives in the novel. By such kind of disease narrative configuration, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein demonstrates the culture of curing disease of the patriarchal society in Britain in the early 19 th century.
