摘要
An ultra - fine bainitic steel was investigated in present study.The steel was heated t0 850℃ and austenized for 10 min followed by cooling t0 300℃ for isothermal different time for bainitic transformation.The specimens were examined using optical and transmission electron microscope.The experimental results show that the microstructure consists of ultra - fine bainite,martensite and retained austenite.Tensile test results show that the both high strength and good elongation are obtained after isothermal treatment for 90 min and 120 min at 300℃.The better comprehensive property of tested steel is attributed the ultra - fine mixture microstructure of bainite,martensite and retained austenite.The results propose the thermal processing route for a new promising high strength steel.
