摘要
We present a 2D adaptive finite element algorithm for time domain marine controlled-source electromagnetic (C4SEM) forward problem.The algorithm is implemented on an unstructured triangular mesh.We verified the finite element (FE) code using a layered 1D model.The FE results are compared with the analytic solutions and the agreement is very well.With the use of the FE code, we study the time domain CSEM responses of offshore hydrocarbon models.In this paper, we report some preliminary results.
