K, Li, Cs, and Be are also useful in constraining basin in which borate-bearing clayey formations may have deposited. B is the most suitable indicator element in soil geochemistry based borate prospection for terrestrial borate deposits. B with Na generates anomalies that are most useful for Na borates together with Ca-borates. K, Li, Cs, and Be concentrations are useful in constraining boundaries of basin in which borate-bearing clayey formations may have deposited.
