Isotopic signal variations of three deep subsurface flows concentrated in a perturbation-stage. Rapid subsurface flow is affected by mechanical wave originating from rainfall dynamic features. Phenomena that are similar to the water hammer take place in a shallow vadose zone. A conceptual model of rapid subsurface flow availing pressure wave propagation is proposed. The conceptual model provides a novel thinking for rapid subsurface flow generation.
