Tectono-thermal evolution of the Veporic Unit (Western Carpathians) was revealed by multiple geochronological methods;

The Eo-Alpine nappe stacking in the Veporic Unit (~ 135–95 Ma) and exhumation of the internal part of the orogenic wedge (~ 90–35 Ma);

Formation of the Central Carpathian Palaeogene Basin (~ 35–20 Ma) and its destruction and denudation (~ 20–13 Ma);

Volcanic activity of the Veporic volcano-plutonic complex occured during the Sarmatian;

Final destruction of volcanic structure, exhumation, and denudation of the Veporic domain started in the Late Miocene (~ 11 Ma) and continued up to the recent;
