Based on data of hydrogeology survey, hydrochemistry sample analyses, combined with remote sensing, ¹⁴C dating, water monitoring and many other kinds of methods, analyses of hydrological circulating system in the Jiuzhaigou core scenic area are conducted in this paper. The study area is divided into the Rizegou, Zezhawagou, Shuzhenggou and Danzugou hydrologic subsystems. Cyclical changes in climate and precipitation occur in this study area, and the rocks and geological structures are stable. Water transformation mainly occurs through inter-basin (valley) supply and the vertical trench replenishment. The core landscapes are in the adolescence and mature stage, and its present situation is at a relatively steady state.
