Taxonomy of ostracods yielded from the uppermost Permian siliceous and muddy rocks is studied in Liuqiao section, Guangxi, Shaiwa section, Guizhou and western Pingdingshan section, Anhui Province. Thirty genera and 86 species were identified, including one new genus Denticupachydomella Yuan gen. nov. and two new species Pseudo-bythocypris guiqianensis Yuan sp. nov. and Denticupachydomella spinosa Yuan sp. nov. The studied faunas, mainly composed of small and thin-shelled individuals, are dominated by typical Palaeozoic species accompanying with a few Mesozoic elements (e.g. Abrobairdia, Lobobairdia). A strong endemism is observed in the studied faunas. There is no common species between the three studied faunas, and only 20 species has been reported from the Upper Carboniferous -Upper Permian strata of Europe and Southeast Asia.
