The Tangzhangzi Gold Deposit in Eastern Hebei Province: A Typical Cryptoexplosive Breccia-Type Gold Deposit
详细信息
摘要

Field investigations and exploration of the Tangzhangzi gold deposit in Eastern Hehei Province suggest that the NE - trending deep faults of F2 and F3 in this deposit control the gabbro and granite porphyry magma belt. In the intersection area of the fauhs Fl and F2 with the SE - trending fault F1 , magmatic gas - fluid activities enhanced, forming a clear crypto - explosion breccia, which were zoned from the center to the outer areas as a breccia belt - collapse breccia belt-shatter breccia zone. In the main fault zone F2 and F2 southeast of the breccia pipe, hydrothermal fluids accumulated to form an auriferous pyrite quartz vein, which is about 3000 meters long, 25 meters wide, and whose highest Au grade is 45 g/t, the lowest is 3.6g/t, aver- aged 8.44g/t, comprising the main orebody of the Tangzhangzi gold deposit. In the arcuate faults F5 - F17 north of the breccia pipe and the radial fracture F18 - F22, F23 -F27 on the south, it is observed that thermal fluids accumulated to varied degrees to form an auriferous quartz vein, whose Au grade is 1.82 g/t. In the explosion breccia zone and its derived auriferous fault system controlled by the main fault zone and intrusive rock belts, sulfide miner- als were developed and gold grade was high in veins near the pipes. With the increasing distance of the fault system with the explosion breccia, the content of sulfide minerals in fracture system are gradually reduced, and the gold grade is gradually lowered. It composites a typical cryptoexplosive breccia type gold deposit. Identification of breccia type gold deposit is a reference for gold exploration and geological studies on similar background areas of the North China platform.
