Influences of the Threshold Pressure Gradient on the Dynamic Reserves Evaluation of the Tight Gas

     Due to the complicated flow mechanism of the pore micro-structure of the tight gas, the conventional material balancing method is not available to the dynamic reserves~ evaluation of the tight gas. With the helps of the flow laws of the gas characterized by the introduced threshold pressure gradient, characteristic of the pseudo steady state flow, material balance Duhanmel principles and equivalent borehole diameter model, the dynamic material balance formula of the vertical fractured well with limited conductivity is derived under the condition of variable flow rate. According to the linear relationship between the modified production of the gas wells and corrected cumulative production in the formula, and moreover integrating with the corresponding iteration method, the dynamic reserves of the reservoirs are determined. In addition, taking some gas wells in Sulige Gasfield as an example, the calcula- tion and analyses are conducted. The results show that with no consideration of the influence of the threshold pres- sure gradient, the calculated results are close to those of the interpretation of Software RTA, on the contrary, the computed results of the dynamic reserves are very closer to the actual values.
