     The ground fissures are one of the main geological disasters in Beijing area and have complex origin. This paper summarized the exploration methods and put forward the prospecting evaluation system of the ground fissures in Beijing. According to current situation of ground fissures, forecasting and comprehensive evaluation methods have been discussed. That activity intensity is the main index of ground fissure risk assessment, and ground fissure potential risk prediction is the focus of evaluation. So this article proposed to the cause of ground fissure and the type of project construction into the evaluation index system.
