摘要
The paper described a kind of Helmet-like fossil(Amoebinella),which was collected from the basal Cambrian phosphoric rock of Xixiang,southern Shaanxi,China.The genus feature of Amoebinellaare supplemented and its classification and affinity are discussed.The specimens can be divided into"main branch"and several"sub-branches"and there are some feature of"spine","glyph"and"possible mouth"on the surface.Based on these features,the authors suggest that the fossils should represent"sedentary planula"or"primary polyp"rather than outer hard parts of metazoans.
