摘要
With the rapid development of remote sensing technology, the high-resolution remote sensing technique has become an important technical means used in major survey areas or exploration of mineral resources areas abroad, supporting the China’s "going out" strategy for mineral resources. In this paper, based on previous geological work on copper-nickel mines of the ruby deposit in Fiskenasset of southwest Greenland, we use the QUICKBIRD and WORLDVIEW-2 high spatial resolution satellite data and interactive interpretation techniques to delimit basic-ultrabasic rocks which are closely related to mineralization in the study area. And in combination with the copper nickel mineralization and ruby mineralization alteration characteristics, as well as the ferric altered mineral spectrum characteristics, we utilize the ratio method to extract iron mineral anomalies in the study area. Besides, we use the method "Five Elements of Remote Sensing Exploration" to delineate ferric contamination anomaly areas. Based on the ore-control/ore-structure, ore-bearing rocks, ferric contamination anomalies and altered tone abnormal information, we determine 15 remote sensing prospecting targets. The results of field examination and verification show that the mineralization indicator information from this effort is well consistent with the real case in the work area.. It means that the favorable prospecting zones determined by remote sensing are of great significance to mineral exploration.
