SHRIMP Zircon U-Pb Age of the No.3 Intrusion in the Tulargen Cu-Ni Mining Area, East Tianshan Mountains, Xinjiang, and Its Geological Significance
详细信息
摘要
The large-scale Tulargen Ni-Cu sulfide deposit in the East Tianshan hosts 3 mafic-ultramafic intrusions. The No.1 intrusion is mainly composed of amphibole peridotite, olivine pyroxenite, pyroxenite and gabbro, and the transition boundaries can be found between different lithofacies. The chondrite normalized REE diagrams show parallel lines of different lithoface samples, indicating different lithofacies are originated from the same evolution series. However, the No. 2 and No. 3 intrusions are mostly gabbro, which are much richer in Ti and P than No.1 intrusion. The chondrite normalized REE diagrams and primitive mantle normalized trace elements patterns of the No.2 and No.3 intrusions show negative Zr and Hf anomalies, which are different from the No.1 intrusion. The No.1 intrusion has experienced different magma evolution processes with respect to the No.2, and No.3 intrusions. The newest zircon dating shows 300.5±3.2Ma for the No.1 intrusion (ore deposit), 357.5±2.5Ma and 351±4Ma for the No.2 and No.3 intrusions, respectively. Although the No.1, No.2 and No.3 intrusions have same strike, the difference of their ages are more than 50Ma, suggesting they are formed by different geologic events. According to regional magma events, the age of the No.1 intrusion is consistent with post-collision extensional setting in the East Tianshan(320~252Ma), and the No.2 and No.3 intrusions are accordant to the main collision squeezing setting in the East Tianshan(349~330Ma).
