摘要
In the difficulty of prospecting fluorite deposits,it is very urgent to look for a method to predict concealed / half-concealed fluorite deposits in grasslands.As a portable geophysical prospecting method,the VLFEM method is effective in looking for superficial fault zone.In this paper the application of VLF-EM in the location prediction of concealed / half-concealed fluorite deposit is introduced with the case of Elimutai fluorite in Linxi,Inner Mongolia.The horizontal distribution and occurrence of the anomalies are analysed after a series processing of the VLF-EM data using Fraser filtering and other technologies and the metallogenic belts confirmed in geological study.This study shows that the VLF-EM method is feasible in the location prediction of concealed half-concealed fluorite deposits.
