摘要
The Taoyuan syncline,located in the east of Daozhen County,Guizhou Province,is a component of the bauxite deposit in Wuchuan-Zhengan-Daozhen area.The deposit occurs in the Permian Liangshan Formation,belonging to the sedimentary type.The sedimentary discontinuity in geological history played an important role for the forming of bauxite.By analyzing the ore-forming geological background and geologic characteristics of deposit,the ore-controlling factors and exploration guide in the Taoyuan syncline are summarized.It is pointed out that there is still great ore potential in deep and western limb of the syncline.
