Fluid Characteristics and Geological Significance of Guangji-Makouhu Fracture Zone
详细信息
摘要
Located at the north margin of Yangtze plate and south flank of Dabie orogen, the Guangji-Makouhu fracture zone is composed of northeastward thrusted high-angle imbricate thrust faults and NWW-extending sinistral strike-slip faults and characterized by shallow brittle deformation.Calcite veins and cataclastic rocks are well developed along this fracture zone.Carbon and oxygen isotopic data of wall-rocks and calcite veins in the fracture zone show that the(13.37‰~16.68‰) of veins are obviously lower than the δ18OSMOW(18.53‰~21.44‰) of wall-rocks,and-the δ13CPDB(-1.54‰~2.76‰) of veins are close to the δ13CPDB(0.21‰~4.54‰) of wall-rocks.In the δ18OSMOW-δ13CPDB diagram, both of the δ13CPDB fall in the area of marine-carbonate,which indicates that the fluids of the fracture zone mainly originated from the interaction of down-seeping meteoric water and wall-rocks.According to the characteristics of structural deformation, the origin of the fluids and the homogenous temperatures of fluid inclusions of hydrothermal calcite veins,it is concluded that the Guangji-Makouhu fracture zone is a thrust and sinistral strike-slip fracture zone with a multiperiodic activity in a shallow depth(3~5 km),and the tectonic framework at the north margin of middle Yangtze region during Yanshanian is characterized by bidirectional ramping.
