摘要
According to the sieve pore size of China National Standard(GB/T 6005-2008-R40/3) and International Standard(ISO 565-1990),the size fraction of super high purity quartz sand was divided.The logarithm conversion values of sieve-mesh diameter d micrometer unit(Φ=-log2d) was used in grain size subpopulation and statistical analysis.The average,standard deviation and skewness were used to accurately characterize grain size distribution properties.Histogram and frequency percent plot of grain size distribution were used to show grain size distribution characteristics and cumulative normal probability graph was used to test distribution property.It provided unified and refined grain size evaluation evidence for study of high purity quartz ore,preparation of high-super quartz sand,melting technology of high-tech quartz glass and trade relations.The best grain-size characteristics of high purity quartz sand was that its average approach of optimum value of melting technology,σ<0.35,SK→0,normal or asymptotic normal distribution.The particle size distribution such as double peak,flat top,fine deviation,crude deviation was not good.
