Gold Deposit Features and Metallogenic Regularity of Precambrian in Hunan Province, China
详细信息
摘要

Hunan Precambrian gold deposits is mainly located in NE-NEE-trending Xuefeng arc structural belt, Northeastern Hunan NE-trending Mufushan-Jiuling uplift tectonic belt and central Hunan E-W trending tectonic - magmatic belt. In accordance with its ore-controlling structure and ore-bearing rock types, those deposits can be divided into quartz-vein-type and Fracture zone altered rock type. In the Commentary on the basis of the geo- logical characteristics of the different types of gold deposits, this paper summed up the control factors and metal- logenic regularity of gold mineralization in the study area the region strata, magmatic rocks, mineral distribution is strictly controlled by deep faults; the mineralization has a significant stratabound effect, Side-volt mineralization and columnar enrichment patterns, as well as the vertical zoning. Those deposits mainly are genesis of metamor- phic hydrothermal activities, part of which may be affected by magmatic hydrothermal activities or superimposed mineralization. In addition, there may be yet porphyry-type or gold-bearing porphyry-types. Prospecting for Pre- cambrian gold deposit of Hunan Province firstly should focus on fracture zone altered rock type, followed by quartz veins and porphyry-type.
