Magnetic Forward Modeling Considering Demagnetization Effect Using Finite Element Method Based on FlexPDE

摘要
FlexPDE is application software which is developed by PDE Solutions Inc.to solve partial differential equation using finite element method,also is a scripted finite element model builder and numerical solver.Based on FlexPDE platform,firstly this essay solves the Laplace equation of static field using finite element method and simulates the magnetic fields of 2D cylinder and dike.Lastly,simulation results conclude that demagnetization effect of magnetic body with high susceptibility leads to lower amplitude and shape distortion of magnetic anomies,as well as results in inhomogeneous distribution of internal magnetization magnitude and surface magnetic monopoles density.Besides,the magnetization direction is deflected to long axis orientation of magnetic body.
