Geological Characteristics and Enrichment Regularities of the Dispersed Elements Indium and Cadmium in the Zhongjia Iron Ore Deposit of Longyan City, Fujian Province
The Zhongjia tin polymetallic sulfide deposit in Longyan city of Fujian Province contains 2 types of industrial dispersed elements In and Cd. This paper studies the content of the dispersed elements In and Cd, and their accumulation in this deposit through conventional microscopic observation and chemical analysis. The result shows that the content of the In and Cd is several times higher than industrial grade of that associated elements in ores of zinc (lead) mineralization series. Dispersed element geochemistry indicates its volcanic sedimentary -hydrothermal superimposed genesis. This deposit is located in the western Fujian Province-Meizhou Pb-Zn-Cu-Fe polymetallic ore belt between the Nanling and West Pacific continental margin polymetallic metallogenic belt in eastern China. So the studies of features of the deposits and their dispersed element accumulation are of significant theoretical and practical significance.
