Electrical resistivity method is useful for groundwater exploration in hydrogeological geophysics, but as the geological condition is different in each region, the use of this method is also different. In this paper, by analysis the example and combine with the different hydrogeologic conditions in karst mountainous area and Taihang Mountains, it compares the electrical resistivity application difference in different area, and summarized the usage and interpretation experience.
