The process of geological resources development in China is lacking in enough cognition of fragile geological landscapes such as low anti-interference ability with external environment, poor self-stability, easy broken or extinction. This paper utilizes hierarchic analysis to establish evaluation system for fragile geological landscapes, containing fragility and landscape regime which include nine evaluation factors. In addition, it assigns values for evaluation factors and divides grades of fragile geological landscapes. Using the evaluation system for fragile geological landscapes to estimate 30 representative Danxia landscapes in Longhushan, it is found that the evaluation result coincides with the result of practical investigation and it can provide some useful reference for geological vestige protection.
